Councilperson Greenwood stated several citizens have asked him about the
repairs, and he told them they didn't have to hire a contra tor because it might
be in their best interest to see what kind of bids the c'ty receives and have
that contractor do the repairs.
Eric Thorson, City Engineer, reported that citizens have a few more weeks to
obtain a permit for the necessary repairs. If they don' take out a permit,
they will be included in the city's program. Mr. Thorson stated that typically
they have found those who hire their own contractor get better bids.
