Hackett Road, Waterloo, Iowa. Pledge of Allegiance by: Jeromy Spaulding, Troop 126 and Neal Ticknor, Pack 7. 89497 - Moved by Miller, seconded by Dowie that the Agenda, as proposed, for the Regular Session of July 14, 1986, at 7:00 p.m., be accepted and approved. Motion carried. 89498 - Moved by Miller, seconded by Dowie that the Minutes of the Special Session held July 2, 1986 at 5:00 p.m. and the Minutes of the Regular Session held July 7, 1986 at 7:00 p.m., be approved. Motion carried. ORAL PRESENTATIONS 89499 - Councilperson Angel complimented the Police Department on their excellent service to citizens of the City of Waterloo. She related three incidents where prompt service has been rendered by the Department. Moved by Dowie, seconded by Miller that communication from City Engineer transmitting the request of Orval Goldsworth for temporary asphalt driveway at 714 Downing Avenue, together with recommendation of approval be received, placed on file and "Resolution approving said request", be adopted. PETITIONS FROM PUBLIC 89500 - Moved by Dowie, seconded by Miller that the communication from the City Planner transmitting the request of Garden of Memories, 3669 Logan Avenue for a special permit to construct a 24' x 24' storage building generally located west of Logan Avenue (Highway 63 North) just south of Big Rock Road, together with recommendation of administrative approval of the staff be received, placed on file and "Resolution approving said special permit request", be adopted.
