RESOLUTION NO. 2017-162 RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENTS, ETC. AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS MARCH 30, 2017 AND PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 3, 2017, FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF THE REMAINDER OF FY 2017 THROUGH FY 2018 POLICE VEHICLE EQUIPMENT NEEDS, AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc., as submitted by Captain Frank Krogh, are hereby approved. Section 2. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of April, 2017, to approve specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc. and setting date of bid opening as March 30, 2017, for the purchase and installation of the remainder of FY 2017 through FY 2018 Police vehicle equipment needs. Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of March 2017.
