RESOLUTION NO. 2017-176
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
MUNICIPAL
PIPE TOOL CO. LLC OF HUDSON IOWA IN
THE AMOUNT OF $1,465,634, AND APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
FOR THE FY 2017 CIPP PIPELINING PHASE IIIA,
CONTRACT NO. 919, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the bid of Municipal Pipe Tool Co., LLC, Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of
$1,465,634.00, for the FY 2017 CIPP Pipelining Phase IIIA Project, Contract No. 919, is the
apparent low bidder.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the contract, bonds, certificate of insurance and bid of Municipal Pipe
Tool Co., LLC, Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $1,465,634.00, for the FY 2017 CIDP
Pipelining Phase IIIA Project, Contract No. 919, described in the specifications heretofore
adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2017-175, after public hearing on
March 6, 2017, on published notice required by law is hereby accepted and Mayor and City Clerk
authorized to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of March 2017.
