RESOLUTION NO. 2011-1024
RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSIGNMENT AND
ASSUMPTION OF DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FROM LEE
ENTERPRISES, INCORPORATED TO FDP OC, L.L.C.
AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Assignment and Assumption of Development Agreement dated
October 24, 2011, assigning the new owner, FDP OC, L.L.C., to
receive the benefits of the Development Agreement that was
entered into on August 22, 2005 with Lee Enterprises dba The
Courier, for expansion of the warehousing project for property
generally located at 501-503 Commercial Street, by and between
Lee Enterprises, Incorporated; FDP OC, L.L.C. and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of October, 2011.
