RESOLUTION NO. 2011-1044 RESOLUTION APPROVING RELEASE OF REAL ESTATE MORTGAGE WITH PATRICIA A. MANGRICH AND LAVERN MANGRICH FOR 34 EAST EAGLE ROAD, FOR PAYMENT OF PROMISSORY NOTE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE KIMBALL SOUTH RURAL WATER MAIN PROJECT AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID RELEASE OF REAL ESTATE MORTGAGE BY MAYOR. WHEREAS, Patricia A. Mangrich and Lavern Mangrich have paid the Waterloo Water Works the remaining balance of the Promissory Note and Mortgage for 34 East Eagle Road in conjunction with the Kimball South Rural Water Main Project for the following described property: That part of the Northwest Quarter (NW; -4.) of the Northwest Quarter (NW14) of Section Twenty-two (22), Township Eighty-seven (87) North, Range Thirteen (13) West of the Fifth Principal Meridian in Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as: Commencing at a point on the North line of said Section that is Eighteen (18) rods East of the Northwest corner of said Section; thence East Ten (10) rods; thence South Eight (8) rods; thence West Ten (10) rods; thence North Eight (8) rods to the place of beginning, excepting all legal highways. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Release of Real Estate Mortgage dated November 7, 2011, for payment of Promissory Note in conjunction with the Kimball South Rural Water Main Project, by and between Patricia A. Mangrich and Lavern Mangrich and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
