1. Enclosed you will find specifications for a complete service vehicle to support
maintenance operations within and outside the City of Waterloo Sewer Department. The
specifications enclosed may or may not be specific to a certain make/model but it is the
intent to allow prospective bidders to meet the specifications utilizing comparable
manufacturer equipment. Said comparable equipment must meet or exceed the
standards listed within these specifications.
• Specifications for truck chassis are as attached.
• Specifications for service body are as attached.
• Specifications for telescopic crane are as attached.
• This service vehicle should be equipped with a hydraulic driven 35 cfm air
compressor.
• This service vehicle should be equipped with a 250 Amp Welder.
• This service vehicle should be equipped with a 5kw Generator.
2. The City of Waterloo will have no trade-in as part of this purchase.

Dominator I: 11' heavy duty galvannealed steel crane body with standard right rear crane mount, 25" deep
workbench bumper with through compartment, 5/16" plate work surface and recess for 2" hitch receiver tube
and pintle hitch mounting plate rated at 2000 Ib vertical tongue weight and 16,000 Ib gross trailer weight. 7 blade
trailer light plug receptacle. 44" II x 22" D compartments, 24" above cargo bed, RF # 1 and # 2 compartments
raised to 60", 40" above cargo bed constructed of 10 and 12 ga. material. Body offers 137.4 cubic feet of storage.
Inverted A frame torsion box understructure. 14 ga. galvannealed, hemmed, seamless single panel steel doors,
stainless steel hinges, pneumatic gas spring door retainers and cast steel black powder coated 3 -point latches.
Cargo bed is 50"W constructed of 1/8" deck plate and has six (6) recessed tie downs. Three point access package.
Fully integrated and sealed electrical system incorporating an automotive style harness system with power and
function distribution box. Includes LED DOT stop, tail, turn, marker and backup body lights and backup alarm.
Exterior primed, interior of compartments painted with IMT compartment coat and understructure
undercoated. Molded rubber fender extensions and mudiaps. Crane body rating of 52,000 ft -Ib designed for
installation on 84" CA 14,000-26,000 Ib GVW Low profile, low frame chassis

The CAS35WG compressor contains a hydraulically driven 35 cfm {16.5 L/sec) reciprocating air compressor, 250 -amp
welder and 5000 -watt generator. The unit is a self-contained package that mounts to the top of a mechanics truck sidepack
in the same fashion as a standalone air compressor.
