The Iowa Water Environment Association is offering a unique water quality educational opportunity in
advance of the 2017 Annual Conference in Ottumwa. Gather at the Bridge View Center entrance for a
12:30 start. The itinerary is as follows:
Sycamore Park Storm Water Pump Station (across the street from Bridge View Center) - Lucas
Billesbach, JEO Engineering -- Presenter
Gateway Storm Water Pump Station -- Todd Penisten, Veenstra & Kimm Engineering - Presenter
Ottumwa Water Pollution Control Facility -- Kam Reeves, Supt , City of Ottumwa, WPCF -- Presenter
Presentations will be made at each facility. The Storm Water Pump Station presentations will be
approximately 1/2 hour each.
Return to the Bridge View Center is planned by 4:30 pm.

Personal Statement:
I would like to attend this event as it is one of the major conferences in the field
of neighborhood services. I feel the information that I would receive there
would be helpful in reengaging Neighborhood Services with the City of
Waterloo. One of the keys of aspects of professional development is
implementation. I look forward to being able to share the information that I
would receive and implement those ideas that are practical and beneficial to
our community.

To travel to Aurora to provide a Confined Space Rescue class for Valero Renewable Fuel as well as recertification class
taking a total of 5 days instruction. We are planning on using a City vehicle but will be including rnileage in the travel
request in case this doesn't work out. All of these expenses will be reimbursed through invoice to Valero.
