RESOLUTION NO. 2017-257
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT
TO MINTURN, INC., OF BROOKLYN, IOWA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,491,713.00 AND APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
FOR THE FY 2017 4TH STREET BRIDGE CANOPY REPAIRS
(BASE BID + ALTERNATE 1), CONTRACT NO. 910, AND
AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that
the bid of Minturn, Inc., of Brooklyn, Iowa in the amount of $1,491,713.00 and approving the
contract, bonds, and certificate of Insurance for the FY 2017 4th Street Bridge Canopy.Repairs
(Base Bid+ Alternate 1), Contract No. 910, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project, with Resolution No. 2017-208, after public hearing on March 20,
2017 on published notice required by law,be and are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April 2017.
