Members present: Chairperson Welper, Morrissey, Powers, Amos, and Schmitt. Absent: Jacobs
and Lind.
Moved by Schmitt seconded by Amos that the Agenda, as proposed, be approved. Ayes: Five.
Motion carried.
Moved by Amos seconded by Powers that request by Fire Chief to initiate Civil Service process
for fire recruit, be approved. Ayes: Five. Motion carried.
Mr. Schmitt questioned if this is a backfill position.
Pat Treloar, Fire Chief, explained the position is to replace a newly retired position.
Moved by Amos seconded by Powers that request from Chief of Fire Services for authorization
to appoint one (1) Fire Recruit from the Civil Service List, be approved. Ayes: Five. Motion
carried.
With no further business before the committee, it was moved by Morrissey seconded by Amos
that the meeting be adjourned at 4:36 p.m. Ayes: Five. Motion carried.
