RESOLUTION NO. 2017-218 RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT ETC., AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 13, 2017 AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 17, 2017, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) CARGO VAN FOR THE TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH SAID NOTICE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the preliminary specifications, form of contract, etc., as submitted by the Public Works Director, are hereby approved. Section 2. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 17th day of April, 2017, to approve specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc. and setting date of bid opening as April 13, 2017, for the purchase of one (1) cargo van for the Traffic Department. Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
