RESOLUTION NO. 2017-223
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC.
AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING AS APRIL 20, 2017
AND DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS APRIL 24, 2017, FOR
THE FY 2017 FLOOD CONTROL GATEWELL REPAIRS,
CONTRACT NO. 918, AND INSTRUCT CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH SAID NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., as submitted
by the City Engineer, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet in Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th day of April, 2017, to
approve plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. and setting date of bid opening as April 20,
2017, for the FY 2017 Flood Control Gatewell Repairs, Contract No. 918.
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of March 2017.
