RESOLUTION NO. 2017-231
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT
TO PETERSON CONTRACTORS, INC., OF REINBECK, IOWA
IN THE AMOUNT OF $966,707.20 AND APPROVING THE
CONTRACT, BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
FOR THE FY 2017 SITE GRADING FOR NORTHEAST
INDUSTRIAL PARK, CONTRACT NO. 926, AND
AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
SAID DOCUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
Section 1. That the site grading contract in the amount of$966,707.20, between Peterson
Contractors, Inc., Reinbeck, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, in conjunction with the FY
2017 Site Grading for Northeast Industrial Park, Contract No. 926, described in the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2017-190, after public
hearing on March 13, 2017 on published notice required by law, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the contract, bonds, and certificate of insurance in conjunction with the
FY 2017 Site Grading for Northeast Industrial Park, Contract No. 926, described in the
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project, with Resolution No. 2017-190,
after public hearing on March 13, 2017 on published notice required by law are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27°i day of March 2017.
