RECEIVING OF BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the
City Clerk of the City of Waterloo,Iowa,at
her office in the City Hall of the said City Printer's Bill $58.28
on the 18th day of May,2017 until 12:00
PM for the construction of CRUSHING
SALVAGED ASPHALT, as described in
detail in the plans and specifications now
on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
OPENING OF BIDS
All proposals received will be opened in
the First Floor Conference Room at City
Hall,in the City of Waterloo,Iowa,on the
18th day of May 2017,at 1:00pm(Central
Time) and the proposals will be acted
upon at such later time and place as may
then be fixed by the City Council.
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of
said City will conduct a public hearing on
the proposed plans, specifications, form
of contract, and estimate of cost for the
construction of the above described
improvement project at 5:30pm on May
22,2017,said hearing.to be held in the k

heretofore prepared by the Interim Public
Works Director of the City of Waterloo are
now on file in the office of the City Clerk
for public examination, and any person
interested therein may file written objec-
tion thereto with the City Clerk before the Subscribed and sworn to before me this
date set for said hearing,or appear and

SCOPE OF WORK
The extent of the work involved is the
crushing of salvaged asphalt in the size
and quantity as described in the plans
and specifications.

shall be commenced within fifteen (15)
working days after receipt of "Notice to
Proceed" and said project shall be
