RESOLUTION NO. 2011-997
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR DEMOLITION AND
SITE CLEARANCE SERVICES PROJECT (NO REGULATED
ASBESTOS-CONTAINING MATERIALS) FOR THE FORMER
GRAND HOTEL, IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO AS
OCTOBER 24, 2011, AT 5 : 30 P.M. AT CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WITH THE TAKING OF BIDS
THEREFORE, AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at the City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 24th day of October, 2011,
for the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc. , in conjunction with the
Request for Proposals for Demolition and Site Clearance Services
Project (No regulated asbestos-containing materials) for the
former Grand Hotel, in the City of Waterloo, with the taking of
bids therefore.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of October 2011 .
