RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY APPROVING PLANS
SPECIFICATIONS, REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARANCE SERVICES
PROJECT (NO REGULATED ASBESTOS-CONTAINING
MATERIALS) FOR THE FORMER GRAND HOTEL.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Community Planning and Development
Director of said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc. , in conjunction with the Request for
Proposals for Demolition and Site Clearance Services Project (No
regulated asbestos-containing materials) for the former Grand
Hotel, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Community Planning and Development Director
did file said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. , in
conjunction with the Request for Proposals for Demolition and
Site Clearance Services Project (No regulated asbestos-containing
materials) for the former Grand Hotel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , in conjunction with the Request for Proposals for
Demolition and Site Clearance Services Project (No regulated
asbestos-containing materials) for the former Grand Hotel, in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby,
preliminarily approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of October 2011 .
