RESOLUTION NO. 2011-988
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF BID TO MURPHY TRACTOR & EQUIPMENT CO. OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $50, 400 . 00
FOR THE RENTAL OF THREE (3) MOTOR GRADERS TO
SUPPORT SNOW REMOVAL OPERATIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid received from Murphy Tractor & Equipment Co. of
Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $50, 400 . 00, in conjunction with
the rental of three (3) motor graders to support snow removal
operations, described in the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted by this Council for said project with Resolution No.
2011-961 after public hearing on October 3, 2011 on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby awarded, the same being
the apparent lowest bid for said project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of October 2011 .
