RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF BID TO LENCO ARMORED VEHICLES OF
PITTSFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS, FOR THE PURCHASE
OF POLICE DEPARTMENT ARMORED LAW ENFORCEMENT
TACTICAL VEHICLE, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$228, 607 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid received from Lenco Armored Vehicles,
Pittsfield, Massachusetts, in the amount of $228, 607 . 00, in
conjunction with the purchase of Police department armored law
enforcement tactical vehicle, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2011-963, after public hearing on
October 3, 2011 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby awarded, the same being the apparent lowest bid for said
project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of October 2011 .
