RESOLUTION NO. 2012-340
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF LEASE AND FIXING TIME
AND PLACE OF HEARING ON TAKING BIDS TO FARM
CITY-OWNED LAND LOCATED AT THE SOURTHWEST
CORNER OF HIGHWAY 20 AND KIMBALL AVENUE, AS
MAY 7, 2012, AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN THE CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa shall meet
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 7th day of May, 2012, for the purpose of
opening, awarding bids and acting upon the proposed Lease
Agreement to farm approximately 28 . 4 acres of city-owned land
generally located at the southwest corner of Highway 20 and
Kimball Avenue, just south of Tower Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of April, 2012 .
