RESOLUTION NO. 2012-336
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PERMISSION TO ENTER
INTO NEGOTIATIONS WITH PERMEATE REFINING
L.L. C.
WHEREAS, Waster Management Services wishes to develop an
(agreement with Permeate Refining L.L.C. for delivery of AFM
Waste Stillage) , at the Anaerobic Lagoon as fuel to produce
energy, and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Waste Management Services is
presently accepting stillage at a rate of $0 . 05 per gallon from
Permeate Refining L.L.C. , and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Waste Management Services
wishes to enter into a contract with Permeate Refining, L.L.C.
for continued and consistent deliveries.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that Waste Management Services enter into
negotiations with Permeate Refining L.L.C. to develop a contract
for delivery of AFM Waste (stillage) , be and the same is hereby
approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same on behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of April, 2012 .
