RESOLUTION NO. 2012-324
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF THE
KINGSLEY/LOU HENRY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TO HOLD A
5K RUN/WALK EVENT ON APRIL 28, 2012 .
WHEREAS, the Kingsley/Lou Henry Elementary School has
requested that they be allowed to hold a 5K Run/Walk event on
April 28, 2012, together with the approval of the Director of
Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 8 : 30 a.m. , with the route
to start and end at the Kingsley/Lou Henry Elementary School
located at 312 Rachael Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Kingsley/Lou Henry School
to hold a 5K Run/Walk event on April 28, 2012, beginning at 8 : 30
a.m. , with the route to start and end at the Kingsley/Lou Henry
Elementary School located at 312 Rachael Street be, and the same
is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of April 2012 .

FOUNDATION TO HOLD A 5K RUN/WALK EVENT ON
SEPTEMBER 29, 2012.
WHEREAS, the Job Foundation has requested that they be
allowed to hold a 5K Run/Walk event on September 29, 2012,
together with the approval of the Director of Safety Services,
and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 9: 00 a.m. , with the route
to start and end at the Hoing-Rice Softball Complex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Job Foundation to hold a
5K Run/Walk event on September 29, 2012, beginning at 9: 00 a.m. ,
with the route to start and end at the Hoing-Rice Softball
Complex, be and the same is hereby approved.
