RESOLUTION NO. 2012-311
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH WATERLOO DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION (WDC) , OF WATERLOO, IOWA AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo currently has an agreement
with the WDC to construct a Sportsplex facility on the land
generally located between West 1St Street and West 3rd Street,
between Washington Street and Jefferson Street, and
WHEREAS, the WDC needs access to the property generally
located between West 1st Street and West 3rd Street, between
Washington Street and Jefferson Street to begin site development
activities for construction of the Sportsplex, and
WHEREAS, conveyance of the property has not taken place.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said amendment to the Development Agreement,
to allow WDC access to the property prior to the conveyance of
the property to WDC, is approved so as to allow commencement of
site development activities in the City of Waterloo, Iowa be, and
the same is hereby approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of April 2012 .
