RESOLUTION NO. 2012-288
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF
APPLICATION TO IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR USTEP GRANT FUNDING AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID APPLICATION BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the application for grant funding in the amount of
$16, 115. 00, to fund a solar powered radio controlled advance end
of green flashing beacons, on the US 63 southbound approach to
Airline Highway, by and between the Iowa Department of
Transportation and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is hereby
approved, and the Mayor is authorized to execute the same on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of April 2012 .
