RESOLUTION NO. 2012-284
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF FINANCIAL
RESOURCE ADVISORS FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Financial Resource Advisors are requesting a
variance to the Noise Ordinance on June 9, 2012 from 4 : 00 p.m. to
9: 00 p.m. , in conjunction with a FRA car show to be held at 815
W. Tower Park Drive, including a band and use of a PA system,
together with approval of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Financial Resource Advisors have made formal
application for a variance effective June 9, 2012 from 3: 30 p.m.
to 5 : 30 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Waterloo Business and
Professional Women for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance, on June 9, 2012 from 3 : 30 p.m. to 5 : 30 p.m. , in
conjunction with an FRA car show to be held at 815 W. Tower Park
Drive, including a band and use of a PA system be, and the same
hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of April 2012 .
