RESOLUTION NO. 2012-034
RESOLUTION APPROVING RECOMMENDATION OF AWARD
OF CONTRACT, TO ADVANCED ENVIRONMENTAL IN THE
AMOUNT OF $37, 440 . 00, FOR ASBESTOS ABATEMENT
SERVICES OF THE FORMER FRANCIS GROUT SCHOOL
LOCATED AT 330 MADISON STREET.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the contract of with Advanced Environmental of
Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $37, 440 . 00, in conjunction with
the Asbestos Abatement Services at 330 Madison Street, formerly
the Francis Grout School, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project with Resolution No. 2012-10, after public hearing on
January 3, 2012 on published notice required by law, be and is
hereby awarded, the same being the apparent lowest bid for said
project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of January, 2012 .
