RESOLUTION NO. 2017-331
REQUEST BY FINANCIAL RESOURCE ADVISORS (FRA) FOR
A VARIANCE TO THE NOISE ORDINANCE ON SATURDAY,
JUNE 3, 2017 FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 8:00 P.M. TO HOLD
THEIR ANNUAL CAR SHOW IN THE PARKING LOT LOCATED
AT 816 W. TOWER PARK DRIVE, ALONG WITH THE USE OF
A PA SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, Financial Resource Advisors, has requested they be allowed to hold the 7th
Annual Car Show on June 3, 2017 in the parking lot located at 816 W. Tower Park Drive, along
with use of P.A. system and approval of the Director of Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094,Noise Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Financial Resource Advisors, for a variance to Noise
Ordinance No. 3094 on June 3, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in conjunction with the 7th
Annual Car Show, along with use of P.A. system and recommendation of Captain of Police
Services, is hereby granted.
