RESOLUTION NO. 2017-370
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT WITH
HENDERSON PRODUCTS OF MANCHESTER, IOWA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $52,943, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) SALT
BRINE BLENDER WITH AUTOMATED TRUCK FILL FOR THE
STREET DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the bid of Henderson Products of Manchester, Iowa, in the amount of
$52,943, for the purchase of one (1) salt brine blender with automated truck fill for the Street
Department, is the apparent low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of Henderson Products of Manchester, Iowa, in the amount of
$52,943, for the purchase of one (1) salt brine blender with automated truck fill for the Street
Department, described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project
with Resolution No. 2017-368, after public hearing on Mayl5, 2017, on published notice
required by law be, and is hereby accepted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May 2017.
