RESOLUTION NO. 2017-373
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT
TO PETERSON CONTRACTORS, INC., OF REINBECK, IOWA IN
THE AMOUNT OF $221,066, AND APPROVING THE CONTRACT,
BONDS, AND CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR THE FY 2017
FLOOD CONTROL GATEWELL REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 918,
AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck, Iowa submitting a bid in the
amount of $221,066, along with contract bond and certificate of insurance, is the apparent low
bidder in conjunction with the FY 2017 Flood Control Gatewell Repairs, Contract No. 918.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of Peterson Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck, Iowa in the
amount of$221,066, and the contract bond and certificate of insurance for the FY 2017 Flood
Control Gatewell Repairs, Contract No. 918, described in the specifications heretofore adopted
by this Council for said project with Resolution No. 2017-305, after public hearing on April 24,
2017, on published notice required by law be, and are hereby accepted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May 2017.
