RESOLUTION NO. 2017-374
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY BENTON'S SAND & GRAVEL,
INC., OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AT A TOTAL COST OF
$41,640.80 FOR THE FY 2017 LEISURE SERVICE
SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION, CONTRACT NO. 925, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Benton's Sand & Gravel, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, performed work in
conjunction with the FY 2017 Leisure Service Sanitary Sewer Extension, Contract No. 925, in
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Benton's Sand & Gravel, Inc., has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$41,640.80.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and recommendation of acceptance of
work performed are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15`"day of May 2017.
