ORDINANCE NO. 5394
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE, BY
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN
SECTION 10-4-4, APPROVING A REQUEST BY MICHAEL PRICE
FOR A REZONE OF 1955 LOCKE AVENUE (FORMER KNIGHTS OF
COLUMBUS) FROM "R-4" MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT AND
"R-2" ONE AND TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "C-2"
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, FOR THE REUSE OF THE SITE AS AN
EVENTS CENTER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map referred to in Section 10-4-4, Rezoning Certain
Property, of Ordinance no. 5079, as amended, City of Waterloo Zoning Ordinance, be amended to
rezone the property legally described as follows:
THAT PART OF THE SE 1/4 OF THE SW 1/4 OF SECTION 33, T89N R 13W OF THE
5TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA,
DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
THE SOUTH 275.00 FEET OF THE EAST 100.00 FEET OF PARCEL "J",
MISCELLANEOUS BOOK 332, PAGE 723 IN THE BLACK HAWK COUNTY
RECORDER'S OFFICE.
now zoned on the Official Zoning Map of Waterloo, Iowa, generally located at 1955 Locke
Avenue, as R-4" Multiple Residence District and "R-2" One and Two Family Residence District be
and the same is hereby rezoned as "C-2" Commercial District, as above described, for reuse as an
events center.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF
WATERLOO, STATE OF IOWA:
That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this
Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
