RESOLUTION NO. 2017-275
RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION 2016-987,
ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 19, 2016, TO CORRECT IOWA
DOT AGREEMENT NUMBER FROM 2015 ICAAP-05 TO
2017-ICAAP-02 AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa adopted Resolution No. 2016-987
on December 19,2016, which identified an Iowa Department of Transportation Agreement for
Traffic Adaptive Signals on Hwy. 218 and San Marnan Drive as Iowa DOT Agreement Number
2015 ICAAP-05, and
WHEREAS, the Iowa DOT has determined the Agreement Number should be corrected
to read, Iowa DOT Agreement Number 2017-ICAAP-02.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request for correction of the Agreement previously known as
Iowa DOT Agreement Number 2015 ICAAP-05, to Iowa DOT Agreement Number 2017-
ICAAP-02 is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 2016-987 is hereby rescinded in its
entirety.

RESOLUTION APPROVING IDOT AGREEMENT FOR
TRAFFIC ADAPTIVE SIGNALS ON HWY. 218 AND SAN
MARNAN DRIVE AND FIBER OPTICS COMMUNICATIONS
UPGRADE - STP-A-8155(743)--86-07 IN THE AMOUNT OF
$800,000, INCLUDING $500,000 ICAPP FUNDING AND
$300,000 STP FUNDING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,,IOWA, that
the Iowa DOT Agreement for Traffic Adaptive Signals on Hwy. 218 and San Marnan Drive and
Fiber Optics Communications Upgrade - STP-A-8155(743)--86-07 in the amount of $800,000,
including $500,000 ICAPP funding and $300,000 STP funding, on is hereby approved, and the
Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute''the same in behalf of the City of
Waterloo,Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of December, 2016.
