RESOLUTION NO. 2017-285
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY PETERSON CONTRACTORS,
INC., OF REINBECK, IOWA, AT A TOTAL COST OF
$168,501.75, FOR THE FY 2016 11TH STREET BRIDGE DECK
JOINT REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 890, AND RECEIVE AND
FILE TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc., of Reinbeck, Iowa,performed work on the FY
2016 11th Street Bridge Deck Joint Repairs, Contract No. 890, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors Inc., has completed the aforementioned project in
accordance with the project plans and specifications at a total cost of$168,501.75.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Certificate of Completion and recommendation of acceptance of
work performed are hereby approved and the two (2) year maintenance bond is hereby received
and filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April 2017.
