RESOLUTION NO. 2017-308
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
AUTOMATED SIDE-LOAD GARBAGE TRUCK FOR THE
SANITATION DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
Interim Public Works Director of said city was directed to prepare and file plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) automated side-load garbage
truck for the sanitation department, and
WHEREAS, said Interim Public Works Director did file said plans, specifications, form
of contract, etc., in conjunction with purchase of one (1) automated side-load garbage truck for
the sanitation department, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on April 24, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with
the purchase of one (1) automated side-load garbage truck for the sanitation department is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of April 2017.
