Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center - Boiler Replacement
I am pleased to offer you this engineering service proposal for the above-mentioned
project.
This proposal includes design development, contract documents, bidding assistance,
submittal reviews and on-site meetings with construction personnel as required to clarify
issues of design.
This proposal also includes the following:
Replace existing hot water boilers with new higher efficiency boilers
Replace the existing base mounted heating pumps with new pumps.
Replace piping and control valves to pipe mains.
Evaluate the existing combustion air fan and modify as required.
Evaluate the existing boiler room exhaust fan and modify as required.
Integrate Trane DDC with new equipment.
Evaluate the existing water cooled chiller that serves the kitchen AHU and modify
as required.
Upgrade the existing motor control center.
Equipment power
Emergency boiler shut off buttons.
AutoCAD drawing created from past building remodeling projects will be used
Printing and reproduction of plans and specifications necessary for coordination
and review during the design process are included.
This proposal does not include the following services:
Architectural and structural engineering services (none expected)
Telecommunication, video, network, etc. design.
Fees, permit costs or other costs associated with review or applications to
goveming bodies

Distribution and document reproduction expenses
Life cycle cost analysis for utility rebates or energy code approval
Commissioning services
For the above -referenced services our fee will be $78,680.00.
Additional services, as approved and requested, shall be provided at our hourly rates.
MODUS Errors and Omissions Policy shall be deemed a part of this Agreement.
Scheduled reimbursables in this agreement shall match the scheduled reimbursables
within the owner/architect agreement.
The AIA B101 (2007) Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect shall
be deemed a part of this letter.
