RESOLUTION NO. 2011-972
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, GOVERNOR' S
TRAFFIC SAFETY BUREAU FOR AN ALCOHOL
INCENTIVE GRANT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $50, 350 . 00
WITH NO REQUIRED LOCAL MATCH AND AUTHORIZE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the contract dated October 3, 2011, for an Alcohol Incentive
Grant, PAP12-410, Task 77, in the amount of $50, 350 . 00, with no
required local match, for the period of October 1, 2011 through
September 30, 2012, to be used for overtime for OWI arrests and
other alcohol-related offenses, and for the purchase of
equipment, materials and training expenses related to traffic
enforcement, by and between Iowa Governor' s Traffic Safety Bureau
and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby
approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of October 2011 .
