RESOLUTION NO. 2011-904
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF BID TO HAWKEYE
INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS, OF CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA,
FOR PURCHASE OF ONE (1) NEW CHIPPER TRUCK,
WITH AERIAL UNIT, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$157, 699. 00, FOR LEISURE SERVICES DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Hawkeye International Trucks, of Cedar
Rapids, Iowa, for purchase of one (1) new chipper truck, with
aerial unit, in the amount of $157, 699. 00, described in the
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
purchase in Resolution No. 2011-873, after public hearing on
September 12, 2011, on published notice required by law, be and
is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for
said purchase.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of September 2011.
