RESOLUTION NO. 2011-865
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO IOWA
BROWNFIELD CONTRACT 09-BRN-07 WITH IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR
CONTINUED WORK AT THE FORMER CHAMBERLAIN
MANUFACTURING SITE TO EXTEND THE PROJECT
COMPLETION DATE TO JUNE 30, 2012 AND EXTEND
THE EXPIRATION DATE TO JUNE 30, 2016 AND
AUTHORIZE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Amendment to Contract 09-BRN-07, dated September 6,
2011, to extend the project completion date to June 30, 2012, and
extend the expiration date to June 30, 2016 for the continuing
demolition of the Chamberlain site, by and between the Iowa
Economic Development Authority (IEDA) and the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2011.
