RESOLUTION NO. 2011-860
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBBMISSION OF GRANT
APPLICATIONS TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT
OF HOMELAND SECURITY, FEDERAL EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT AGENCY, AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF
SAID APPLICATIONS BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the agreement dated September 6, 2011, for a Assistance to
Firefighters Grant in the amount of $119, 000 . 00, with 20 percent
required local match, to be used to purchase 7 new heart
monitors, by and between the U. S . Department of Homeland
Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2011 .
