RESOLUTION NO. 2011-856
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FOR EXTENSION TO
ENCUMBER GRANT FUNDS TO JANUARY 15, 2012 FROM
THE IOWA I-JOBS BOARD FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
BUILDING PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the I-Jobs grant requires all grant monies be under
contract no later than one (1) year from date of grant award, and
WHEREAS, an I-Jobs grant was awarded to the City of
Waterloo, September 15, 2011, and
WHEREAS, I-Jobs grant requires all grant monies be under
contract no later than 1 year from date of grant award (September
15, 2011) , and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director is requesting an
extension of this requirement until January 15, 2012,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the authorization to request an extension to
encumber grant funds to January 15, 2012 from the I-Jobs Board
for the Public Works Building Project be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September 2011.
