RESOLUTION NO. 2011-836
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF JOHN DEERE
WATERLOO WORKS TO HOLD JOHN DEERE 12TH ANNUAL
5K RUN/WALK EVENT ON SEPTEMBER 25, 2011.
WHEREAS, the John Deere Waterloo Works has requested that
they be allowed to hold the 12th Annual 5K Run/Walk event on
September 25, 2011, together with the approval of the Director of
Safety Services, and
WHEREAS, said event will begin at 12 : 30 a.m. , with the route
to start and end at the Tech Works parking located on Westfield
Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the John Deere Waterloo Works
to hold the 12th annual 5K Run/Walk event on September 25, 2011
beginning at 12 : 30 a.m. , with the route to start at the Tech
Works parking lot, next to the John Deere facility on Westfield
Ave. Along Westfield Ave, to River Road and returning to
Westfield Ave. , and the Tech Works parking lot, be and the same
is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 2011.
