RESOLUTION NO. 2011-835
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO EAST HIGH
SCHOOL TO HOLD ANNUAL HOMECOMING PARADE ON
SEPTEMBER 15, 2011.
WHEREAS, East High School has made written application to
the City Council asking that they be authorized and permitted to
hold their annual Homecoming Parade on September 15, 2011, and
WHEREAS, said parade will begin at approximately 2 : 30 p.m.
and end at approximately 3:20 p.m. , with route starting at the
intersection of High Street and Vine Street, proceeding to East
5th Street and Walnut Street th
continuing on East 5 Street eet to
Sycamore Street, right on Sycamore Street, right on East 4th
Street, proceeding on East 4t Street crossing Franklin Street,
and returning to East High School using Lime Street .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of East High School to hold
their annual Homecoming Parade on September 15, 2011, beginning
at approximately 2 : 30 p.m. and ending at approximately 3 : 20 p.m. ,
with route starting at the intersection of High Street and Vine
Street, proceeding to East 5th Street and Walnut Street,
continuing on East 5th Street to Sycamore Street, right on
Sycamore Street, right on East 4th Street, proceeding on East 4th
Street crossingFranklin
Street, and returning g to East High
School usingLime
Street, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September 2011 .
