MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
This Memorandum of Understanding is between the City of Waterloo, Iowa hereinafter
referred to as City, and the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments hereinafter
referred to as INRCOG.
WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage INRCOG's grant writing services for the following project:
Type of Grant: RISE: Immediate Opportunity
Project Description: MidPort Blvd. Extension
INRCOG will not charge the City in advance for grant preparation services; however, in the
event that RISE funding is awarded to the City for this project, INRCOG will submit a grant
preparation invoice in the amount of one and one-half percent (not to exceed $2,000.00) of the
funds awarded, to be paid by the City from local funds.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, INRCOG and the City of Waterloo have executed this Memorandum of
