SUBJECT: Change order #2 for Contract 849, No Name Creek Interceptor Sewer

Recommended City Council Action: Bedrock was found to extend into the bottom of
the proposed trench west of Sanitary Manhole #3. This change order covers the
additional cost of the rock excavation to allow for the sanitary sewer pipe installation.
Change order is for a $60,000 increase.
Summary Statements Change order #2 of $60,000 still keeps cost under next lowest
bid of $1,300,000.00
