Subject: Young Arena Dehumidification Improvements

Dear Chris:
I am pleased to offer you this engineering service proposal for the above-mentioned project.
The proposal includes 3 design evaluations to improve the humidity and temperature levels within the Arena
area.
The 3 systems being evaluated are as follows:
System 1: Existing Arena RTUs replacement without any new dedicated dehumidification units.
System 2: Existing Arena RTUs replacement with only providing one dedicated dehumidification unit.
System 3: Existing Arena RTUs replacement with providing two dedicated dehumidification units.
After a system option has been decided on, MODUS will provide contract documents, bidding assistance,
submittal reviews and on-site meetings with construction personnel as required to clarify issues of design.
Printing and reproduction of plans and specifications necessary for coordination and review during the design
process are included.
MODUS will also partner with a structural engineering firm to evaluate and design any structural
modifications to accommodate the new dehumidification equipment and RTU replacement. MODUS will
also partner with InVision to create the electronic floor plans.
This proposal does not include the following services:
Fees, permit costs or other costs associated with review or applications to governing bodies
As -built CAD drawing creation
Distribution and document reproduction expenses
Life cycle cost analysis for utility rebates or energy code approval
Commissioning services

Our fee for the above services would be $32,400.00. This would include our sub consultant fees.
Additional services, as approved and requested, shall be provided at our hourly rates.
MODUS Errors and Omissions Policy shall be deemed a part of this Agreement.
The AIA B101 (2007) Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect shall be deemed a part of
this letter.
