THIS AMENDMENT is made by and between the IOWA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY, (hereafter "Authority" or "IEDA", formerly the IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT or "IDED"), 200 East Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309, an
agency of the State of Iowa and the CITY OF WATERLOO, 715 Mulberry Street, Waterloo, IA 50703
(hereafter "COMMUNITY"), an Iowa city.
WHEREAS, The COMMUNITY requested that Contract #09-BRN-07 be amended to extend
the project completion date;
WHEREAS, the Iowa Economic Development Authority Board approved COMMUNITY's
request on October 19, 2012;
NOW, THEREFORE, the above -referenced Contract is hereby modified as follows:
1. REVISION OF ARTICLE 1.2, "PROJECT COMPLETION DATE." Article 1.2 is amended to
extend the project completion date by one year as follows:
"1.2 Project Completion Date. "Project Completion Date" Means December 31, 2013."
Except as otherwise revised above, the terms, provisions, and conditions of original Contract
Number 09-BRN-07 remain unchanged and are in full force and effect:
