As before, this segmented approach is deemed best to allow for the project to continue, utilizing industry recommended protocols for addressing mold contaminates, and to assist in restoring the contaminated lining materials within the HVAC systems. These recommendations address the Removal of Degraded/Impacted Interior Fibrous Lining/Sound Attenuation in the AHU's and Minimal Areas of the HP Supply Ductwork. HVAC Systems #3, 4 and 5. Recommendation Per Project IEP recommendations, included the HVAC and Environmental Assessment (performed by Joel Koffron, Environmental Engineer -IEP). Contractor to provide the following services: I) Supply OSHA required PPE to be donned by workers during removal of contaminated materials in the interior of the contaminated HP Supply ductwork and AHU's. 2) Set necessary containments in the Penthouse Mechanical Rooms- Materials and Labor 3) Removal lining materials, scrape residue, bag for disposal. 4) HEPA vacuum, power clean all surfaces of AHU's and HP Supply ductwork in work areas, including application of EPA registered sanitizing agents.. 5) Provide protective services- drops, containments, visqueen as required for applications. 6) Replace any areas of removed lining with Closed Cell Armaflex Lining/Insulation- All Materials and Labor 7) Remove and reinstall access panels and access doors as required 1 RFC CW5501-002-C 5 Sullivan Brothers Alternate Bid- RFC # CW5501-002-C (Removal and Replacement of Degraded Lining Materials in HP Supply and AHU's —HVAC Systems #3, 4 and 5) Provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials as noted in the recommendations section of this RFC.
