EXTENSION AGREEMENT
This Extension Agreement is made and entered into this 'day of January, 2012, by
and between Howard L. Allen Investments, Inc. ("Allen") and the City of Waterloo, Iowa
("City").
WHEREAS, Allen and City entered into a Development Agreement dated October 4,
2010, amended by an Agreement to Amend dated May 23, 2011, that includes a Development
Incentive Payment to Allen for the demolition of 123 Stanley Court, Waterloo ("Facilities"), and
further expanded by a Letter of Agreement dated September 6, 2011.
WHEREAS, the demolition of Facilities was to be completed by January 31, 2012.
WHEREAS, circumstances beyond the control of Allen creates a need to request a 30 -day
extension to have the demolition of Facilities completed by February 29, 2012.
NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree the date by which demolition of Facilities will be
completed will be February 29, 2012.
