QUIT CLAIM DEED
For the consideration of Ten and 00/100 ($10.00) Dollar(s) and other valuable
consideration, the CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, a municipal corporation duly organized
under the laws of the State of Iowa, does hereby Quit Claim to LEE PUBLICATIONS, INC.,
d/b/a WATERLOO -CEDAR FALLS COURIER, all our right, title, interest, estate, claim and
demand in the following described real estate in Black Hawk County, Iowa:
The Northwesterly 5 feet of the Southeasterly 25 feet of Lot No. 13 in Mill Square in the
Village (now City) of Waterloo, Black Hawk County and State of Iowa, subject to
easements of record.
This Deed is exempt from transfer tax pursuant to Iowa Code Section 428A.2(10).
Each of the undersigned hereby relinquishes all rights of dower, homestead and
distributive share in and to the real estate.
Words and phrases herein, including acknowledgment hereof, shall be construed as in the
singular or plural number, and as masculine or feminine gender, according to the context.
