RESOLUTION NO. 2017-422
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID TO PETERSON CONTRACTOR,
INC., OF REINBECK, IOWA IN THE AMOUNT OF $79,200 FOR THE
2017 SALVAGED ASPHALT CRUSHING PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, the bid of Peterson Contractor, Inc., Reinbeck, Iowa, in the amount of
$79,200, for the 2017 Salvaged Asphalt Crushing Project, is the apparent low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the bid of Peterson Contractor, Inc., Reinbeck, Iowa, in the amount of
$79,200, for the 2017 Salvaged Asphalt Crushing Project, described in the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project by Resolution No. 2017-420, after public
hearing on June 5, 2017, on published notice required by law is hereby awarded and the Mayor
and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June 2017.
