RESOLUTION NO. 2017-433
RESOLUTION APPROVING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO B & B
BUILDERS AND SUPPLY, OF WATERLOO, IOWA IN THE
AMOUNT OF $272,298.52 AND APPROVING THE BONDS AND
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE FOR THE FY 2017 SIDEWALK
REPAIR PROGRAM AND TRAIL REPAIRS - ZONE 7, CONTRACT
NO. 914 AND AUTHORIZE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, B & B Builders and Supply of Waterloo, Iowa submitting a bid in the
amount of$272,298.52, along with contract bond and certificate of insurance, is the apparent low
bidder in conjunction with the FY 2017 Sidewalk Repair Program and Trail Repairs - Zone 7,
Contract No. 914.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the contract bond and certificate of insurance for the FY Sidewalk
Repair Program and trail Repairs — Zone 7, Contract No. 914, described in the specifications
heretofore adopted by this Council for said project by Resolution No. 2017-418, after public
hearing on June 5, 2017, on published notice required by law are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of June 2017.
